Design Build project utilizing existing audio/video equipment for the simulation training center at the Palo Alto VA Campus. The simulation center uses innovative technology in a safe learning environment which enhances diagnostic, procedural and communication skills to train healthcare professionals to support the quality care for our Veterans.

Strategic Industry was the prime contractor, performing the entire electrical and low voltage scope of work on the following project. The work consisted of running various types of low

voltage cable for both video and audio distribution to multiple training, debriefing, and control rooms. Devices such as various TVs, speakers, in-ceiling and wireless microphones and cameras were installed in each training and debriefing room to capture every sound and angle for training. The headend installation consisted of building out the server racks, ladder rack, grounding, electrical and all the equipment necessary to support the training center.

Strategic Industry’s project management team facilitated the design phase working with an approved AMX vendor (programmer) to develop a functional working system that meets the needs of the simulation center end user. In the world of AV (audio & video) simulation training centers and have multiple layers of complexities that had to be properly coordinated for the success of the project.
